World Animal Day on 2nd November,is a day for animals. Its just same as mothers' day, fathers' day, teachers' day and etc. It was being held at KL tower first timely by SPCA. I also first time been to KL tower. Those who went to volunteer gathered at K17 early at 8am and then taken the faculty van to KL tower. Morning was just the briefing and preparation for the day. The event actually started at noon untill 6pm.
This was the look before the event started and when the preparation was still going on. We can see a lot of booths on the tower terrace~

Teddy, a cute poodle~ The first dog we met and play with during the day. She's also being used by our seniors (Dr Goh and Dr Sue) to do demonstration on how to do physical examination correctly. This was because six of us will be incharged in examine all the animals that came during the day and approve or disaprrove them. The rest incharged in directing people at in & exit staircases.
Shikin and Wati were portion of the volunteers that jaga the staircase, others were sook yeng, faiz and naguib. I think it was not an easy job, the weather was hot~ worked under big sun since event started at noon. sweating hard~
Look at this~ This was the temporary stair prepared for the dogs and owners to go up to the event area! Not a good idea after all because a lot of dogs refused to climb up, ended up the owners need to carry them up! sigh~ We also pity, working under the stairs..Thats actually just a parking area and we been arranged to work there with a table and a chair. pity six little vets to be~ Not a pleasant place to work honestly, luckily we all managed to have fun by our own and all the dogs and cats coming were so entertaining with macam2 gelagak~
When there were animals coming, that will be what we did. Examine and tagged those being approved using cabel tie. Thats me, concentrated on doing work~ Didnt noticed which monkey had snapped this photo.
When there werent any people and animals coming, there we go~ chatting everywhere~
Sun was big. Weather was hot. Bung and Shaun busy counting coins. and I? I went to ding dong coke after that~ Luckily there were 4 vending machines down there~ save us!
Yippee~ coke! share2 drinks~ There were only 4 cokes managed to ding dong with that much coins~hehe

Siberian husky~ Quite a number of husky came to the event.

Volunteer also been rewarded with free t-shirt,yeah! Even though these t-shirts being sold there, but~...
But..ours got CREW at the back there. hehe..
A small gift that I got it for myself. Bought it within a minute~ I really cannot resistant to elephant and this kind of handmade cute stuff~ Becomes my favourite hp pouch then. I brought it to genting ~ A tiring volunteering day~ Not even dinner that day~ but is fun to work together~ with friends and animals~ Love your animals~
Next will be blogging on my genting trip..now waiting for the photos from my friend.
